The year is nearly over which means our last #picbookbc chat of the year is almost here! Get ready to get your toes wet cause it’s time to jump into the ocean and talk all things Ocean themed picture books with our cool as chips guest Kylie Howarth!

Kylie Howarth is an author and illustrator of children’s books who lives in Perth, Australia. She’s best known for ocean themed books including 1,2, Pirate Stew, Fish Jam and her award winning book Chip. She has also just released another picture book in the Chip series, Chip the Lifeguard and will soon to be releasing her first chapter book series, Fish Kid! If you couldn’t already tell, she loves animals and has a particular fondness for sea animals as is apparent in her beautiful illustrations.
