JUNE #PICBOOKBC QUESTIONS

The countdown is on! 4 sleeps until our June picture book party! This month we are celebrating ‘cat’ themed picture books with special guest Jacqueline Harvey. We will also be celebrating her purrfect picture book ‘That Cat’, beautifully illustrated by Kate Isobel Scott .

‘An utterly delightful rhyming book, purrfect for the whole family.

Nothing is quite like a cat.

There are brat cats and fat cats, rat cats and mat cats . . . but if there’s one cat everyone knows, it’s THAT CAT’

Penguin Books Australia.

Here are the questions for the June #picbookbc chat!

Q1. What’s your favourite ‘cat’ themed picture book/s? Share a pic #picbookbc

Q2. Why do you think cats make pawsome picture book characters? #picbokbc

Q3. Have you noticed any common themes /lessons featured in cat picture books? #picbookbc

Q4. Do you have a cat at home or have you had one at some point in your life? Tell us about your cat and share a pic! #picbookbc

There will be plenty of time at the end of the chat to ask our special guest Jacqueline Harvey (@JacquelineHarve) all your questions!

One lucky chat participant will win a copy of ‘That Cat’ thanks to Penguin Books Australia! The winner will be announced at the end of the chat.
